SMS Policy

This SMS Policy governs the text messaging program offered by ARIAS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LLC ("ARIAS IT," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

ARIAS IT's SMS program allows you to receive:

  • Support Messages: Updates on support tickets and service requests

3. Opt-In Process

3.1 How to Opt-In

You can opt-in to receive SMS messages by:

  • Completing the SMS subscription form on our website
  • Texting a keyword to our designated short code
  • Providing your mobile number and consent during service sign-up
  • Checking the SMS opt-in box on our contact forms

3.2 Consent Requirements

By opting in, you:

  • Confirm you are the account holder or have authorization to opt-in
  • Consent to receive automated marketing and transactional messages
  • Understand that consent is not a condition of purchase
  • Acknowledge that message and data rates may apply
  • Agree to receive messages at the phone number provided

3.3 Double Opt-In Confirmation

After initial opt-in, you will receive a confirmation message. Reply YES to confirm your subscription. If you do not confirm, you will not be added to our messaging list.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the types of messages you're subscribed to receive:

  • Service Alerts: As needed (typically 0-5 per month)
  • Account Updates: As needed (typically 1-3 per month)
  • Security Notifications: As needed (sent only when necessary)
  • Support Messages: Based on your support ticket activity
  • Promotional Messages: Up to 4 per month

During critical incidents or emergencies, message frequency may temporarily increase.

5. Opt-Out / Unsubscribe

5.1 How to Opt-Out

You can opt-out of SMS messages at any time using any of these methods:

  • Text STOP: Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message
  • Email: Send an opt-out request to sms@ariastechinfo.com with your phone number
  • Phone: Call +1 (904) 449-0335 and request to be removed
  • Online: Visit our website and use the unsubscribe form

5.2 Opt-Out Confirmation

After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive any further messages unless you opt-in again.

5.3 Opt-Out Processing Time

Opt-out requests are typically processed immediately. In some cases, it may take up to 48 hours to completely remove your number from all messaging queues.

5.4 Critical Service Messages

Even after opting out of promotional messages, you may still receive:

  • Critical security alerts
  • Service outage notifications
  • Account-specific urgent messages
  • Messages required by law or contract

To completely stop all messages, you must terminate your service agreement with ARIAS IT.

6. Re-Opting In

If you opt-out and later wish to receive messages again:

  • Text START, SUBSCRIBE, or YES to our number
  • Complete the opt-in form on our website again
  • Contact our support team to be re-added

8. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Check with your carrier for details on your messaging plan.

Our SMS program is available on major carriers including:

  • T-Mobile
  • Verizon Wireless
  • Sprint
  • Boost Mobile
  • Cricket Wireless
  • MetroPCS
  • U.S. Cellular
  • Virgin Mobile
  • And other participating carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1 Information Collection

When you opt-in to SMS messages, we collect:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Opt-in timestamp and consent record
  • Message delivery and interaction data
  • Device and carrier information

10.2 Information Use

We use your phone number to:

  • Send requested SMS messages
  • Improve our messaging services
  • Maintain compliance records
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues

We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number. We may share it with:

11. Age Restrictions

You may not use our SMS program to:

  • Harass or abuse our staff or systems
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

13. Service Availability

While we strive for reliable service:

  • We cannot guarantee 100% message delivery
  • Messages may be delayed due to carrier issues
  • Service may be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time

14. Limitation of Liability

ARIAS IT is not liable for:

  • Delayed or undelivered messages
  • Errors or inaccuracies in messages
  • Charges from your mobile carrier
  • Any damages resulting from your use of SMS services

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Policy at any time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • We may send you a text message notifying you of material changes
  • Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of changes

16. Governing Law

This SMS Policy is governed by the laws of the State in which ARIAS IT is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions. The program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable federal and state regulations.
